Jim, thank you for your comment. There is nothing specifically within the Handicap System that would direct you to suspend posting immediately after aerification. Heck, most people I know sink more putts when the element of luck enters into the equation. In general, the feeling is that your worse scores are thrown out when your handicap is computed (worse 10 of 20 most recent are not a factor), so no harm if a couple of higher scores make it in. Thanks again - Jim Cowan.

We have several members who play many times right after aerification of the greens so their scores will most likely be much higher do to the rough nature of the greens. They then want to post these scores to increase their handicaps. Is this allowed? Is it fair?

Richard Lewis,
I apologize for the delay in responding but I just recently was made aware of this new feature within our website. Unless the courses had a USGA Course and Slope Rating, you cannot post the scores. Non-USGA ratings are not compatible with the USGA Handicap System. Sorry, but too sorry since you just played in Ireland. Thanks Jim Cowan

I just completed playing golf in Ireland for 9 days. I would like to post my scores. However, the courses do not have a slope to enter for NCGA posting. Any recommendations?
