I aced the 3rd hole at San Jose CC in a match on Sept 1 when Spring Hills went to San Jose CC to play them in the 12 man team playoffs. My partner Bobby Powers and the two SJCC team members David Hansen and Gil Carpo were surprised witnesses.
here is the thing. I was unaware of this contest. I probably would appreciate the coffee mug most. The team captains had the scorecards and I’m sure they only reported scores and outcomes and not hole by hole scores.
One, I guess could email the team captain of SJCC and verify this incident. I don’t have contact data on either the capt or my adversaries on that day. I do have my team player Bobby Powers readily available.
here’s my rub. this is about my 8th ace but only the first in 8 years and only my fouth “official” one since I was playing alone or only nine holes in the other cases. I guess I want some recognition being I am an aging senior.
Any suggestions about getting this 1 made into the contest??
Thanks, Neil Duffy

unable to print the “hole in one application”. In what month does the application become available to print? Are these applications sent to NCGA member golf courses? The reason I ask is because our course has had several holes in one and no reconization was made to the player.
January 14th, 2008 at 9:18 pmI mailed in my application for the 2008 contest. I had heard something about a cup given to the each individual. Just getting the hole-in-one was nice enough.
January 24th, 2008 at 3:22 pmMr. Murray,
If you refresh to our homepage, under About the NCGA you will find 2008 Holes-In-One. Click on that link and you will find all the information regarding a Hole-In-One. We are currently accepting 2007-2008 Holes-In-One and you can submit them at anytime as long as you meet the requirements.
Fernie,
I believe you need to go back to our homepage as well. Our new application is availabe on our Holes-In-One page and it requires that you use Adobe Reader to download it. Adobe Reader is available online for free. We do not send them out to course, they can download them and copy them if needed.
Daniel,
I have looked through all my information regarding Holes-In-One and I have not located your application. Once I do receive it, I will mail your Ace mug to you and enter you in the drawing as long as you meet the requirements.
If you have further questions please feel free to contact me.
