Chris,

You read our email correctly, you do renew your club membership directly with your club. You can call me and I can give you the name and phone number of your contact person with the club that we have record of. I would also suggest you have your club call us so we can clarify the renewal process with them. Please feel free to contact me or anyone in the membership department at 831-625-4653. Take care.

I went to my club today to renew my membership and was told they do not do that. They said I should just go online to NCGA and handle this. San Jose Muni is the club and after reviewing my email from NCGA it says go to the club to renew. I wouldn't mind some clarification. Thanks

John,

In October the NCGA membership department sent out an officer update form for each club. Your club sent theirs back with a new club name which happens from time to time with clubs. Please note your club number has not changed. I did attempt to contact a couple of the officers to verify this information since the box was not checked off, only the name changed, but I never heard back. If you find out there has been error made please have someone contact me directly. Thank you. 831-625-4653

I belong to Mather Golf Club. From out of nowhere my December index says I belong to Maters Big Valley Golf Club. I have no clue where this golf club even is. What's up with this??

David - While we strive to make renewing your membership as easy as possible, your membership in the NCGA is through your club as the NCGA is an association of golf clubs. If that is not clear, we apologize. The message we try to commnicate is one that urges our members to renew through their clubs.

We certainly want your membership experience to be a postive one. Thank you for writing in.

DUH...you remind us to renew on your home page but it takes several steps to learn that you cannot renew on line...please post that info on you home page! It'll save you a few email inquiries.
