He shot his age again (we calculated that he has done so about 1000 times, perhaps as often as anyone ever!) It was a joy to see him play with such determination, focus and energy. Most meaningful to me were his passionate desire and specific actions to use golf as a medium to help young people learn key values for life. First Tee and Sandy's Circle are exemplary. He has done much for golf, but he insisted that is was not as much as golf has done for him. Quite a guy. Recently played with Sandy at Harding Park.
