I’m a bit unclear if any member could visit all 3 courses with this promotion within the time schedule, or what. Still.. I am very happy to be associated with the NCGA, and I wish they could find similar deals more often.

Unfortunately. when you call to make a tee time you find out that Pebble Beach Resort has blacked out most of the dates in order to keep tee times available for their resort guests. Too bad we don’t see offers like this at various times throughout the year.

I too think this is a great promo and I have a tee time for Spyglass but it looks like it’s going to be soggy. Any chance you can do this type of promo in some other times during the year that would give us a chance to play these courses for a reduced rate?
December 31st, 2007 at 9:24 amAs a former employee at Spyglass, I can assure you that these rates are being made available by PB Co. due to the time of year and a lack of reservations. Don’t count on seeing these rates at other times of the year.

We are playing Poppy on New Year’s day and Spanish Bay on the 2nd. I had no problem whatsoever in securing tee times (for 2 foursomes). Art at the Poppy Pro Shop was especially helpful as well as the gal taking reservations at PB Resorts.

Can anyone help me understand what’s going on? I don’t see an expiration date on the offer or any other problem.

December 31st, 2007 at 4:55 pmAfter having played SpyGlass several times years ago, I began to see the rates start to exceed those that I could afford. I was sad because I consider SpyGlass the “Temple of Golf”. Now that I’m much older and retired I was greatly surprised that the NCGA struck a deal to get me “one more round” before I go. Thank you!

January 2nd, 2008 at 6:21 pmThis offer was fantastic. My wife and I had wonderful stay at The Inn at Spainish Bay. I played Spainish Bay Wednesday the 26th and Pebble Beach Thursday the 27th. My first Pebble experience was greeted with NO wind and a great foursome. Thank you NCGA and Pebble Beach Resorts.

We got a little of everything, 9 holes of crystal clear weather then 9 holes of the fog that the area is famous for. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity that was provided by the NCGA.

We will certainly remember the holiday season of ‘07 since we spent Christmas Day playing Pebble Beach, then Spanish Bay on New Years Day ‘08. The free entry to 17 Mile Drive was a treat, what with just flashing my NCGA membership card!!!!! I hope the golf discount offer will be repeated in ‘08, we are quite sure we will take advantage of it again.
