		<description>Jim, thank you for your comment. An individual does not have the authority to make such a decision. The decision must be made by the club, specifically the Handicap Committee. There are no hard and fast rules here. Typically clubs make a decision to suspend the posting of scores for an extended period of time based upon the slow erosion of course conditions - the type of erosion that occurs in the winter as a course becomes wetter and wetter. The guiding light for clubs should be to suspend posting when the course cannot &quot;play&quot; to its ratings. Thanks again - Jim Cowan</description>
