NCGA Members Golf at Half Moon Bay
NCGA members have the opportunity to play the Arthur Hills-designed Ocean Course or the Arnold Palmer Old Course at Half Moon Bay at a heavily discounted price through the end of August while supporting the NCGA Foundation.
Two members-only outings are also scheduled at the resort September 12-13.
For the remainder of August, NCGA members pay $100 on a weekday and $115 on a weekend, cart included. This represents more than a 40% discount. Additionally, $20 of each green fee will be donated to the NCGA Foundation and will allow the Foundation to further support deserving youth. Starting times at this reduced rate can be reserved as follows:
• Space Available Basis
• Identify yourself as an NCGA member when making reservation and show proof of membership at check-in (copy of current handicap is fine)
• Maximum two tee times per member, per day
• 48 hour cancellation policy applies
To reserve a starting time, call the Half Moon Bay pro shop at (650) 726-1800.
Members-Only Outings
Members-only outings are scheduled at Half Moon Bay Resort September 12-13.
Members can register for either or both the Old Course on Friday, September 12 (1:30 starting times) or for the Ocean Course Saturday September 13 (8:30 shotgun). The fee of $145 for each round includes golf, cart, food, prize pool and tee prize from Nike Golf.
What if my wife wants to play & she’s not a member? What would the green fee be for us on the Ocean course played before the end of August?
August 21st, 2008 at 8:09 pmFrank - She would pay the regular rate. Contact the golf shop at Half Moon Bay for these prices. She can also join the NCGA - that would probably save you more money in the long run between this opportunity and other special deals we offer.
Thanks,

I love these special offers for members. Keep them coming.
August 24th, 2008 at 8:07 pmTom - Thank you. We have every intention of developing great offers for our members. Stay tuned!
August 25th, 2008 at 8:31 amThe Ocean Course is top notch! The rough is getting longer and the fairways are in great shape. The greens are rolling as pure as can be, so I only imagine how challenging it would be if they cut them down lower and make it twice as fast!
It’s a great time to play right now and the special offers make it even better.
