Is this correct? If you pay $399.00 for the winter pass you get to play all the golf you want until March the 31st? That means if I played 30 rounds of golf from January 1st to March 31st, the actually cost per round would be $13.30? And If decide to take a cart for $17.00, total cost per round would be $30.30? Is that correct? Can I go as a single? That’s a great deal. Better than the senior rate at San Jose Muni!!!

I’m glad there’s a special, and we learn as we go…however, how difficult would it be to have two rates, one for walking and one for riding? Just figure out what’s fair for riding and tack it onto the price. Not $17 per round, or anything ‘per round’, but pick a price for the entire time and offer two levels to the special.

Thanks for your comments Matt, you are not alone in your opinion. We love to hear customer feedback and will definitely consider your suggestion. In addition to the rounds you plan to play in the Spring, we would love to have you play a few NOW! Today, the sun is shining and the course is in great shape. No need to wait until the Spring!

To be clear, I don’t hold a grudge or anything. I’ll still play the course a time or two in the spring, but I would have played a lot more if the deal included a cart. I’m well aware of the benefits of walking, but facts are facts and Poppy is not a walking-friendly course. Some of us just can’t do it and still enjoy the day. I respect the decision not to include the cart, I’m just letting the powers that be know that it does impact the purchase decisions of some. Thanks.

Believe me, not including the cart in the winter pass sours it for me. Lots of seniors out there like me that otherwise would be interested. However, your senior rate thru February is a good deal and I’ll see you on the course.

Love the idea of the Winter Pass. Santa gave me the $$$ to pick one up.
Hope to get in 20+ rounds… As regards walking the Ridge… Best way to get in shape… I’m 50 plus and can walk to track for 27 holes on a good day. See you out there on Jan 1st. How about a Sunday afternoon skins game, with the other “Winter Passers”?
