A Blood Mary at Lockeford Springs! I know, Bloody Mary’s are a dime a dozen, but the concoction that the bartender (Mason Marsh) creates is out of this world. It’s a must whether you’re nursing a hangover or just want to have a hearty liquid breakfast.

AMAZING!!! I came on here to recommend “The Special” at Legends over at Woodcreek Golf Club and someone has already promoted it as their favorite drink too. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised it’s been a local favorite of the Woodcreek 19th hole for years. I will however offer this little bit of advice; If you order one have Danny make it. He puts just the right mix on it and it’s not too watery. And Hey, Tell him “The Fish” sent you in there!! Wink wink.

We live at our golf course at Oakdale Golf and Country Club and have a close set of golfing friends. Our drink is the Hoodie (named arrived as it is our “Neighborhood drink”). The drink is grey goose & diet tonic (watching our calories) and you can also have a Hoodie with Horns which is the same but a splash of sugar free red bull which gives you a little more edge in your golf game. It has caught on and now our clubs bartenders know it by name.

Tough for me to identify just one drink. So will expand this a little to best bar. Without doubt, that would be at Wilcox Oaks. Not for being fancy or upscale–but for the total hospitality one receives. Played a lot of golf down there in the late 90s and early 2000s with much of the membership (such as Al Lengtat, Mike Daly, Bill Spaletta, and Bob Corn). Definately a top notch experience and one much appreciated.
