It would be interesting to learn more about the economics of a golf course. With the downturn in the economy, how are courses surviving? How much are courses spending on maintenance, etc?

a fitness routine to enhance performance, a short game development plan and a focus on how to properly calculate a handicap when a group is playing from different tees would be appreciated.

An interview with John Cook would be great. He was featured in a bluebook a long time ago.

Please include the slope rating tables.

  6. Jose Landazuri writes:

It would be very useful if the course data shown in the Course Listing was available in a table form on the NCGA website. Not all the information shown on the Bluebook would be needed. Just the course name, address, phone number, ratings, slopes and distances. These data could then be transferred to a spreadsheet, and extracted by the members as desired.

  7. William Keane writes:

Agree with Noel. The course handicap tables for varying slopes should be published in thed Blue Book as they were until a few years ago.
