The NCGA Junior Tour‘s fourth tournament of the Spring was conducted at Oakmont Golf Club in Santa Rosa.  The Championship Flights played over the West course while the First Flights played on the East course.  The West course played to a par of 71 on day one and 72 on day two.  The East Course is a par 63 for the boys and 64 for the girls.

Brown and Bevins win Championship Flights

The Girl’s Championship Flight was won by Linda Brown with a score of 147 (+4).  In second place was Brenna Nelsen at 152 with third place going to Jayshree Sarathy also at 152 after a scorecard playoff.  Brown took a three shot lead after a one over par 72 on day one over Sarathy’s 75.

The Boy’s Championship Flight featured a tight battle between Andrej Bevins, Jonathan De Los Reyes and Austin Whitworth with Bevins winning at 137, six under par.  Jonathan De Los Reyes’ 68 lead after day one, followed closely by Andrej Bevins and Tyler Leeworthy at 69.  One shot back of them was Austin Whitworth.

Nine-year old wins Boys First Flight, Wong takes Girls

In the Boy’s First Flight, nine-year-old Andy Zhou fired a 69 (+6)  on day 2 to win by 4 shots over Clayton Archer.  Jeffery Salyer finished third at 151.

The Girl’s First Flight Mabel Wong shot 139 (+11) to win by seven shots over the winner at Hunter Ranch, Chloe Sales (146).  Michelle Xie finished third at 152.

The Net winners for the Boy’s Championship Flight we4re Jonathan Lin, followed by Ryan Han and Eddy Lai.  The Girl’s Championship Flight Net awards when to Stephanie Gibri, Kathleen Scavo and Marissa Hinchman.

In the First Flights, the Boys Net was won by Chadwin Castro, followed by Ryan Cuenca and Kyle Etcheverry.  The Girls Net winner was Rose Friedmann with Kalmina Wu second and Kelly Shotwell third.
