PEBBLE BEACH – The Caddy Club of Pebble Beach team of Jimmy Moore and Eddy Claessen captured the NCGA 19th Annual Associate Club Four-Ball Net Championship at Poppy Hills.
The Caddy Club shot 19-under net 144 in a four-ball format that takes the best net score of two per hole. Moore and Claessen held onto their first-round lead, where they carded a 10-under 62 at Spyglass Hill, and rounded off day two with a 63, easily solidifying the win.
Two strokes back was runners-up PGG Rancho Canada team of Thomas Howe and Gerald Munday with a 17-under 127. A close 16-under was a three-way tie between Dot Squad, Joseph Francis and Chris Perry, Martinez Golf Association, Jim Fitzhugh and John White and UAL 32 Golf Club, Frank Salinda and Howard Lee.
