Seemingly a process that takes little thought, what you see the pros wearing at this week’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits is actually carefully thought out months in advance.

In a process called “scripting,” prominent PGA Tour professionals are outfitted with the latest fashion. This gives retailers an opportunity to order that same product well in advance so that what you see over the weekend is well-stocked in the pro shops come Monday morning.
