British Open Contest


What a British Open!  Just when it looked like Phil Mickelson might pull it out, another Northern Irishmen takes the prize, making it three of last six majors for the tiny country.

We asked contest entrants to predict the champion and runner-up of the 2011 British Open for a free box of Nike golf balls in NCGA.org’s British Open pool.

While many selected Phil Mickelson or Dustin Johnson to finish in the top two slots, only one person predicted Darren Clarke. James Mallon, you are our winner!  Congratulations and thanks to all who participated.
