SACRAMENTO – Rocklin’s Jeff Gilchrist and Steve Woods of Campbell teamed up to win the 59^th Sacramento City Men’s Four-Ball Match Play Championship. The duo beat the team of Chris Johnson (Rancho Cordova) and Scott Watson (Vacaville) 2 and 1 to do so. Semifinalists included the teams of Ben Corfee and Nick Noya and Stefan Von Seeger and John Twist. Overall, nearly 50 teams competed for 32 spots in the match play event. Lodi residents Russell Humphrey and James Watt earned team medalist honors for the top seed, but fell early losing in the round of 16.
