PEBBLE BEACH – NCGA tournament season is officially underway. Eleven NCGA Public Links qualifiers took place Thursday across Northern California for the opportunity to play in 2012’s first major of the year. On April 2-3 at Spyglass Hill 120 players in three different flights will compete in the 47th Public Links Championship. The championship flight tests golfers with a handicap index of 5.4 or less, and only gross scores are recognized. The President (5.5 to 11.0) and Director’s (11.1 and higher) flights use net scores to determine winners.
Unofficial Results can be found above by clicking on ‘March 8th Qualifying Results.’ Results will become official early to the middle of next week once the NCGA staff receives the scorecards back from the various qualifiers to confirm all scores and scorecards are valid.
