Fresno City Four-Ball
Riverside GC
December 1-2, 2012
FRESNO – A sudden-death playoff was needed to decide the 16th Annual Fresno City Four-Ball Championship at Riverside GC. After 36 holes of regulation Jason and Ryan Higton were tied with Danny Paniccia and Mike Stieler at 130, 14-under par. The teams played analogous rounds over the two-day event as both opened up with rounds of 64 and finished with rounds of 66. But on the first playoff hole the Higtons rolled in a birdie to claim the championship outright, and win the event for a second year in a row.
Finishing alone in third was the tandem of Alex Edofrt and Kevin Andrews, who posted a 36-hole score of 131, 13-under par. In fourth place at 133, 11-under par was the duo of Jeff Wilson and Todd Barsotti. Tied for fifth place were the teams of Conrad Nilmeier and Tory Sherman, and Brian Kelley and Matt Christensen.
