Course Rating & Measurement
The NCGA provides accurate hole measurements to courses in Northern California using a state-of-the-art GPS system. Utilizing the USGA’s course rating system, a committee of more than 80 raters creates a strong foundation for the Handicap System.
The California Alliance for Golf
The CAG seeks to improve business conditions in California by serving as an educational resource, and by acting as an advocate for golf before the state legislature and other governmental bodies. The Alliance also communicates the economic benefits and environmental stewardship provided by the game.
