Favorite golf memory: My grandfather introduced me to the game of golf when I was 12 years old. I played golf with him many times in my childhood years. Only now do I realize what an amazing golfer he was to break 80 consistently with one arm.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: “To work with a great group of individuals focused on a common goal.”
Favorite golf memories: Being with my son in the under-12 junior golf tournaments and watching him accomplish his two goals: winning a tournament and shooting in the 70s in an 18-hole tournament round. Witnessing and sharing his happiness and watching him participate in this great sport he will now have the rest of his life gives me the greatest joy.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: I anticipate enjoying being a part of the NCGA’s continuing efforts to expand the golfing community through outreach efforts and youth programs. I also expect to be a voice for high handicappers, for youth  and people with disabilities who wish to enjoy the great game of golf.
Favorite golf memory: Helping to overcome obstacles  preventing Charlie Sifford from getting an invitation to participate in the Legends of Golf Tournament in Austin, Texas and going to see him play.
