The top finishers at the NCGA Junior Championship and the top players during the 2010 season receive exemptions into American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events.
The top ten boys and top three girls, aged 14-18, at the NCGA Junior Championship, will receive AJGA exemptions. The boy’s winner will receive three exemptions, the second through fifth-place finishers will each receive two exemptions and the sixth through tenth-place finishers will receive one. The winning girl will receive two exemptions, while the second and third-place finishers will receive one.
Additionally, NCGA junior 14-18 year-old boy and girl Players of the Year will receive one exemption each. Among the 12-13 year old players, the top boy and girl will earn one Junior All-Star exemption. Junior All-Star tournaments are for boys and girls aged 12-15.
The NCGA Junior Championship is open to all boys and girls aged 12-18, with a valid NCGA handicap index. Boys aged 14-18 will play 54 holes over two days, while the girls and boys 12-13 will play 36 holes. Four qualifying tournaments will be held earlier in the season.

The NCGA Junior Tour will conduct 16 events during 2010, culminating with the Tour Championship held in October. The Players of the Year will be named at the conclusion of the Tour Championship.
