Best part about being an NCGA board member: Tournament service to the members.
Favorite golf memory: In 1997, standing on the first tee at St. Andrews with my longtime college friend and best friend. Then having him closed out on the road hole and posing for a victory picture on the Swilcan Bridge.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: Getting involved with competitive golf and working with truly dedicated people.
Favorite golf memory: Playing in the 2007 AT&T with my son Scott on the bag and rookie pro John Mallinger as partner. Playing on Sunday with Davis Love III and Corey Pavin and tieing for 6th place.

Favorite golf memory: Making a hole-in-one at San Jose CC while playing with my son.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: To work with a great group of individuals focused on a common goal.
Favorite golf memory: Caddying for my son at the San Francisco City Championship at Harding Park when he was 1-up going into the 18th hole. It was raining cats and dogs and the wind was 50 mph sideways and Devin faced a must-shot to the green from 219 yards out. He hit his rescue club to eight feet to secure the win.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: Joining an enthusiastic group of staff and volunteers dedicated to increasing affordability and accessibility of golf throughout Northern California.
Favorite golf memory: Playing the 18th hole at Pebble Beach with my brother as the sun sets.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: Working with the Board and our excellent staff, to grow and preserve a game that I love,  and to enable kids and adults to learn all that golf can teach.
Favorite golf memory: The first and last rounds of golf with my Dad who first introduced me to this great game when I was 8 years old, playing The Old Course with my golf buddies from work, late Sunday afternoon rounds with my wife, and golf every weekend with my best friends at North Ridge.

Best part about being an NCGA board member: The people, including directors and NCGA staff, and the opportunity to make a contribution to the finest amateur golf association in the country.
Favorite golf memory: Playing with my three sons when they were very young and watching them get hooked on the game. Of course, there are also those two holes-in-one I’ve made!

Favorite golf memory: Witnessing six holes-in-one in 2000, with one of those being mine.
