NCGA Women’s Net Amateur

10th NCGA Women’s Net Amateur Championship | Del Monte GC | July 21-22, 2014

Originally a part of the NCGA Women’s Championship, which began in 2005, the Women’s Net Championship has stood on its own since 2008. Players are divided into three flights based on Handicap Index: President (7.5-14.4), Director (14.5-20.5) and Secretary (20.6 & above).

ENTRIES CLOSE: June 27, 2014
July 21-22, 2014
36 holes stroke play (18 holes per day).   Play will be at 100% of course handicap.
ENTRY FEE: $140 (field is limited to the first 96 players)
ELIGIBILITY:Open to all NCGA female members with a numeric handicap index of 7.5 or higher on their club’s Master Report on the date of registration.  96 players will be divided into three flights for the championship based on their July 1, 2013 handicap index.

Del Monte GC No. 9

Revered as the oldest course in continuous operation west of the Mississippi, Del Monte GC provides a parkland style golf course minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. Having been open for play since 1897, the course was designed by Charles Maud a golf and polo enthusiast. The layout provides many tree-lined fairways and plays 6,365 yards with a course rating of 71.5 from the championship tees. Del Monte was the original host of the California State Amateur Championship and is also a regular host—along with Pebble Beach GL—of the Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational and the Champions Tour First Tee Open.
