Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Championship

8th Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Championship | Poppy Hills GC | November 17-18, 2014

2012 Champions: Nancy Boggs and Caroline Haug (Chardonnay), Sue Stryker and Stacey Baba (Merlot) and Beverly Olson and Alba Rodriguez (Zinfandel).

First played in 2006, the NCGA Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Championship is a two-person, better-ball handicap event for NCGA, WGANC or PWGA members.  The event is contested in three flights – Chardonnay, Merlot and Zinfandel, divided by handicap index. The event wasn’t held in 2013 due to lack of entries.

ENTRIES CLOSE: October 31, 2014

ENTRY FEE: $400 per team, includes cart, range balls, and luncheon after the final round. Field limited to the first 54 teams.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all NCGA, WGANC, or PWGA Women Members with a numeric handicap index on their club’s Master Report on the date of registration.

FORMAT: 36 holes four-ball stroke play (18 holes per day). Flights will be determined by dividing all entries into three equal groups based on the team’s combined course handicap. Play will be 95% of the player’s course handicap. If partners’ course handicaps differ by more than 8 strokes, an additional 10 percent reduction will be applied to their course handicap. One partner may represent the team for any part or all of a stipulated round.
