20th NCGA Associate Club Net Amateur Championship | Quail Lodge GC | Sep. 30 – Oct. 1, 2013
First played in 1994, the NCGA Associate Club Net Amateur Championship is an individual handicap event for NCGA members of associate clubs. It is contested in three flights divided by handicap index. The championship rotates between Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge. In 2013, due to Poppy Hills being closed the tournament will be held at Quail Lodge GC in Carmel.
ENTRIES CLOSE: August 9, 2013
QUALIFYING DATE: August 29, 2013
ENTRY FEE: $67 per player. 112 qualifying players will pay an additional $130 for the championship.
ELIGIBILITY: NCGA Associate Club members ONLY. Multi-members can only represent one club. Players must have a numeric handicap index listed on their club’s Master Report, not exceeding 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women) on date of registration. No players under 18 years of age. NOTE: SIRS – Three entries/players per area are eligible for sectional qualifying.
FORMAT: Qualifying – 18 holes. Championship proper – 36 holes (18 holes per day). Players will receive 100% of their course handicap at all levels of play.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Clubs are entitled, but not required, to submit a specific number of players based on their active golfing membership on their January 1 Master Report as shown below. 2 entries/players: 20 – 50 active golfing members 4 entries/players: 51 – 100 active golfing members
6 entries/players: Over 100 active golfing members
FLIGHTS: Flighting is optional at club qualifying. Qualifying: Not flighted. Championship: Players will be divided into three flights at the championship proper.
