AGC is a mens only club that plays tournaments the first Saturday of each month (Feb – Nov). We play mid to upper level courses and try to stay within a 90-minute drive time of San Mateo. We hold long drive and par 3 proximity events at each tournament and track points of all players for the end of season prize party. We have about 50 members and would like to grow back to around 100. Great group of guys that range in age and ability. We currently have 3 separate flights within the club so that all members compete with others of roughly the same ability. We allow guests if someone wants to give us a try for a single tournament!

We are basically a South Bay club but we play all over.  The club starts playing late February and plays every other week until the end of October followed by the awards banquet which is held in early November at Shoreline Golf Club in Mt. View.  Our two big events are our trip to Reno in June and our Tournament of Champions in October along with playing Poppy Hills. We try to play a variety of courses from the easy to the hard and if one were to play every event it would average out to about $70 per event. We have an 18-year club legacy with handicaps ranging from 6 to 26, mostly high-tech and other professionals ages 20’s to 40’s but all ages and new handicappers are welcome. Fun and competitive tournaments at Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge, Eagle Ridge, Cinnabar Hills, Harding Park, San Juan Oaks, Bayonet, Callippe Preserve, Aptos and others. Dues include monthly tee times arranged, prizes and side action, and beers and food after every round. We hold two major trophy tournaments per year and a Ryder Cup team challenge plus qualify for the NCGA tourneys at Spyglass for free. Great to learn the game, play better and have a lot of fun networking.

Measurex Golf Club has been in existence for over 30 years and is seeking new members. We have several tournaments per year predicated on participation. Our annual tournament is the day after Thanksgiving and is called the “Dead Turkey.” Since our membership is widespread we charge minimal fees to be part of our club and play in any of our tournaments. Our current fee charge is $10 over and beyond dues which covers all benefits which are some of the lowest club fees around.

NASGA is an open NCGA associate club, originally founded by employees of National Semiconductor, and actively looking for new members of all handicap levels. We have male and female members, with handicaps ranging from 3 to high 30’s. The club plays roughly 20 tournaments a year at courses in the Monterey Peninsula to Santa Rosa to Brentwood areas, starting in early March and finishing the season at the end of October. We like our golf, with multi-flight competitions held each tournament and season stats maintained, but the club emphasizes having fun and a social atmosphere. We are primarily in the South Bay/Santa Clara county area, but have members in the Pleasanton/San Ramon area. We are primarily a bunch of friends and I’m trying to provide an easy/low cost way to join the NCGA and learn more about the rules of golf and play in tournaments. We have several decent players, but many will be newer players just starting to play in handicapped tournaments and we will be trying to create formats conducive to this mix. We currently plan on at least 4 tournaments this year, but will probably not schedule more than 6 or 7.  We will also be creating forums so that people can find others to play with.

We play 12 times per year at 12 different courses, ranging from Monterey to Auburn and all places between. Our tournaments are held on Saturday’s keeping in mind when Holidays fall during the year. We have a tournament budget for the top 5 scores each month. We also have winners for the par 3 holes and the lowest amount of putts each month. Our normal turnout is from 12 to 20 players both Men and Women, so you are not waiting for hours after you finish for the payout results. From time to time, we offer an extra team type game to add a little extra excitement into the day. We have an 80% Handicap skins game which is optional. During the year, we have a monthly points system based on your scoring position that concludes with payouts at the end of the year and a chance to win your next year’s dues if you are the overall winner. This is a good mix of people from all around the Bay Area that like to get together once per month for some fun on the course.
