NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship

PEBBLE BEACH – Plumas Lake’s Bud Sanchez and Bob Roak captured 40th annual NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship at Spyglass Hill.

Sanchez and Roak came from behind in the final round, firing a 9-under-par net 63 to total 18-under 126 and win by three strokes. The 63 duplicated the duo’s first-round effort and overcame a four-stroke deficit to first-round leaders Crystal Springs.

Three teams tied for second in format that takes the low net score per hole. After a short playoff, the Shelter Cove team of Justin Graham and Roger Carson earned runner-up honors. Harding Park (Michael Sokitch and Mark Cook) and Fig Garden (Lee Urabe and Charlie Chase) tied for third place.
