NCGA North Zone Championship 2007

PEBBLE BEACH – Shelter Cove’s Justin Graham, Travis Early, David Selby and Pat Goodman came from two shots down in the final round to claim the NCGA North Zone Championship at Spyglass Hill.

Shelter Cove’s score of 33-under-par 255, in the format that takes the best two of four net scores per hole, was good for a four-stroke win. Eureka GC’s team of Chris Marshall, Alan Gunn, Brian Finck and Mike Vina fell out of their first round lead to finish second. Beau Pre and Paradise Pines tied for third, seven strokes back of the leaders.

Both Shelter Cove and Eureka qualified for the Zone Championship, to be held August 20-21 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.
