PEBBLE BEACH – Tulare GC captured the South Valley Zone Championship Tuesday at Poppy Hills.
The foursome of Benji and Roland Jasmann, Gilbert Nunes and Darin Poston fired a two-day total of 246 to win. Riverbend GC finished four stokes back in second place in the format that takes the two best net scores of four on each hole.
Tulare and Riverbend will advance to the Zone Championship to be played August 20-21 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.
