PEBBLE BEACH – The La Contenta GC team of David Conrad, Robert Schriver, Mitchell Mariani and Joseph White held onto their overnight lead to capture the NCGA East Sacramento Zone Championship at Poppy Hills.
La Contenta fired a final-round net 14-under-par 130 to finish at 254 and win the tournament by one stroke in the format that takes the best two net scores of four on each hole.
The Catta Verdera GC team of Dave Delucia, Bill Anderson, Bob Leppek and James Castle held took second place with a 33-under 255 two-round total.
Both teams will advance to the Zone Championship to be played at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill on August 25-26.

Robert Schriver, Mitchell Mariani and Joseph White.
Runners-up: Catta Verdera GC team of Dave Delucia,
