Snow Clubs

The NCGA is a year round association but because some clubs are in physical locations that deal with a lot of snow and ice during the winter, we give them a grace period after the AFRP to get renewals in.

Snow Clubs AFRP

This is a reminder that the NCGA Annual Fall Renewal Period begins October 1, 2010 and concludes December 31, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. PST. NCGA clubs may start adding golfers for 2011 on October 1 without generating a billing for the remainder of 2010.

Because weather conditions may prevent access to your NCGA computer near the December 31 deadline date, we encourage you to begin your deletion/inactivation process for 2011 soon. Clubs are urged to delete members that will not be renewing their NCGA membership for 2011 AND to inactivate any members whose status for 2011 is uncertain. As a reminder, entering information on the NCGA computer without successfully transmitting between October and December 31st will not trigger the desired deletions and inactivations.

Clubs also have the www.ghinclub.net Internet site to perform club transactions. Detailed instructions for this site will be included in your October billing packet.

Deleted/inactivated members who are reinstated after December 31 but before the April 1 revision will have the standard $10.00 reinstatement fee waived, but only during this time period. That is, the club will be charged the standard NCGA renewal fee ($36.00) instead of the $46.00 reinstatement fee. Snow clubs, such as yours, are the only clubs that are extended this consideration due to the unique and abbreviated playing season that you experience.

Your January 2011 NCGA membership billing will be based on all active members as of December 31, 2010. Everyone appearing on your January 1st roster will be issued the Bluebook edition of NCGA GOLF along with a January 1st Index.

Failure to trim down your roster by this December 31st deadline will result in excess billings to your club; billings that the NCGA does NOT issue credits for as NCGA does not receive credit from our various vendors such as the magazine publisher, GHIN, etc.

A roster of your NCGA membership as of October 1, 2010 will be forwarded to your club’s billing person in October as a secondary reminder of the importance of the next couple of months.

Please give this matter the attention it deserves before the club closes for the season.
