Welcome to the NCGA online Handicap Certification Seminar.
The USGA Handicap System mandates that clubs complete a licensing process each and every four-year “cycle” in order to be authorized to issue USGA Handicap Index (we are presently in the 2008-2011 cycle). One component of this licensing process requires a representative from the club to complete a USGA-approved seminar on the subject of handicapping.
This online seminar satisfies the above requirement (as does completion of an NCGA “live” certification seminar).
The seminar is composed of 18 different sections, or holes. Quiz questions accompany many of the holes. All 18 holes (and Quiz questions) must be completed.
You are free to complete this seminar in one session, or come and go as you like.
