The USGA requires each and every club in the country to complete formal education on the subject of the Handicap System every four year cycle (we are presently in the 2008-2011 cycle). The NCGA Online Handicap Certification Seminar (http://www.ncga.org/training/) has been approved by the USGA and satisfies the USGA requirement.

If your club does not appear on the provided list, a club representative must complete a “live” NCGA Certification seminar or this online seminar no later than December 31, 2011. Clubs that fail to satisfy this requirement will have their handicaps withdrawn on January 1, 2012.
