Through the Green is the quarterly handicap-focused article in the official journal of the Northern California Golf Association, NCGA Golf magazine. NCGA Director of Course Rating and Handicapping Jim Cowan authored all the articles. Cowan is a member of the USGA Handicap Procedure Committee.
